OneStar Disc Golf is excited to bring the 17th South Texas Shootout PDGA B-TIER. .
This event will be played on beautiful Veteran's Memorial Park in Beeville, TX and for honoring and mourning the U.S. military personnel who have died while serving in the United States armed forces

PLAYER PACKS: All Amateurs will receive a Commemorative Tournament Stamped Disc and various other items. You can pick up players pack at Head Quarters Friday during doubles or anytime Saturday.
LODGING:
CAMPING - Thanks to the Generosity of the City of Beeville we have obtained a camping permit at Veterans Park for the weekend of the event starting on Friday May 26th through Sunday May 28th. Please note the permit is primitive Tent camping so no water or electrical hook ups are available. This is a perk to granted to us so please be on best behavior!

With the desire to keep Park beautiful and safe for all of our visitors here are rules and regulations to follow when here for the 2023 South Texas Shootout.
Park hours: Normal hours of operation for Veterans Park are 6 am. to 11 pm (Not sure if they will close gates during event)
Throwing ashes/ charcoal on the ground is PROHIBITED. & No camp fires as there are no fire rings! Cutting live trees or branches is PROHIBITED.
Dumping waste water on the ground is PROHIBITED.
Pets MUST be Leash at ALL times and dispose of excrements.

Please check in at starting hole at least 10 minutes before tee time
You are responsible for being on time for your tee so get there as early as you can.
TEE Times are subject to change based on entry's & drops leading up to event.

Players should be at their starting holes at least 10 min BEFORE the 9am start time.
in the case a player does not show to your card, make sure you have AT LEAST 3 PLAYERS on the card. In the event you do not, one player will go to a forward card, one player back. This can be adjusted using the PDGA Live Score (Contact TD if needed)
PLAYERS MEETING: Virtual Players meeting on Friday prior to event will be emailed. Players meeting will also be transcribed on Facebook, DG Scene and back of map at event.
General Rules:
All PDGA Rules will be followed to promote fair play for all disc golfers. If any point in dispute is not covered by the rules, the decision is made in accordance with fairness.
The TWO-meter rule IS NOT IN EFFECT! Use provisional throws when necessary to save time!
OUT of BOUNDS (806.02): Roads, Parking Lots, Creek, Fence & Pylons and Cables, if not marked. Painted Lines.
(806.02 Out-of-Bounds [C]: A disc that cannot be found is considered to be out-of-bounds if there is compelling evidence that the disc came to rest within an out-of-bounds area. In the absence of such evidence, the disc is considered lost and play proceeds according to 805.03.
LOST DISC? (805.03): (3) mins to locate (everyone must HELP!), if determined lost proceed to previous lie w/ one stroke penalty.
Mandatory Routes (804.01): A mandatory route restricts the path the disc may take to the target. The restricted space is a vertical plane marked by one or more objects or other markers which define the edges of the space.

HOLE 2: O.B. Creek Left, O.B. Road Right
HOLE 4: DOUBLE MANDATORY marked Trees; Use Drop Zone (DZ) if missed.
HOLE 6: MANDATORY Left of marked Tree; Use Drop Zone (DZ) if missed.
HOLE 10: HAZARD island; Play as it lies with (1) Stroke penalty if island missed off Tee. all subsequent throws do not occur penalty.

Refund policy
OneStar Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. PDGA 1.03 for withdraws will be strictly followed.
Current Refund / Withdraw Status (PDGA 1.03 (E))
E. Players who officially request to withdraw from an event within 14 days of the start of the event and prior to the event’s published closure of registration and waitlist replacements (within one week is recommended) will receive a 100% monetary refund minus up to a $10 handling fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled by a player who is on the waitlist at the time of the withdrawal request. If the player’s spot is NOT filled, the TD has the choice to provide EITHER a 25% cash monetary refund OR just the player’s pack they would have received if they had attended (minus the cost of shipping). In the case of a player in a Pro division for an event without a Pro player pack worth at least 25% of the Entry Fee, the TD will provide the 25% monetary refund.
