The 2024 TAAF Winter Games of Texas (DISCGOLF) will be held Saturday, January 13th in Victoria, Texas utilizing Riverside DGC.
The Texas Amateur Athletic Federation is a nonprofit organization established in 1925 to promote, organize and conduct amateur athletics in the state of Texas.
The Disc Golf Portion of the event will be run by Onestar Disc golf. Our mission is to create and maintain a permanent representation of Disc Golf during the TAAF Winter Games and establish the highest ideals of amateur sports in the State of Texas; promote the development of physical education and enforce the standardization of PDGA rules during event.

DIVISIONS: PRO / AM
FORMAT: (BYOP) DOUBLES
BEST SHOT: pick the best throw from one of the team members as its lie.
ALTERNATE SHOT: alternate shot is just what is sounds like. Teammates just throw disc between them taking turns throwing alternating shots until the hole is complete. Prior to playing the first hole, the teammates determine which player will tee off then they alternate every shot. (Order must be followed throughout course holes determined)
BEST SCORE: Each teammate plays the hole individually and the best score is kept.

We will have a couple of Optional Buy In's per player available the day of the tournament so bring a few extra dollars!

- Cash to Pin C.T.P. ($5 per player) Just like traditional CTP but will payout cash to the player closest to the designated hole during event! *1 CTP per round - *Onestar will match pot if ACE is hit on CTP hole!
GENERAL RULES:
This is a non-sanctioned PDGA event however the PDGA Rules will be followed to promote fair play for all disc golfers. If any point in dispute is not covered by the rules, the decision is made in accordance with fairness.
The TWO-meter rule IS NOT IN EFFECT!
OUT of BOUNDS (806.02 Out-of-Bounds): Roads, Parking Lots, River, Lake, “Pylons and Beyond” if not marked. Painted Lines, Flags, stakes.
(806.02 Out-of-Bounds) C: A disc that cannot be found is considered to be out-of-bounds if there is compelling evidence that the disc came to rest within an out-of-bounds area. In the absence of such evidence, the disc is considered lost and play proceeds according to 805.03.
805.03 Lost DISC: (3) minutes to locate (everyone must HELP! ), if determined lost proceed to previous lie w/ one stroke penalty.
Adult Beverages - Alcohol consumption is allowed however since this an amateur's event by TAAF we ask that it is not publicly displayed during rounds. (Thanks!)
SCORING: UDISC Events currently doesn't support team (doubles) scoring that will track and list scores like league play however UDISC can be utilized as round play and turned into HQ as official - We will also have paper cards available.
RIVERSIDE Hole Specific Rules:
● Hole 7 – ISLAND –MARKED BY LINE; OB is Marked. Throw from Drop Zone if Tee Shot lands OB. Subsequent shots thrown OB should be marked where disc was last in bounds.
● Hole 11 – OB - Pavilion Surrounded by fence, Parking Lot (MARKED)
● Hole 12 – ISLAND –MARKED BY LINE; OB is Marked. Throw from Drop Zone if Tee Shot lands OB. Subsequent shots thrown OB should be marked where disc was last in bounds.
All other holes follow general rules and PDGA rules.
